Sergiy Lebedynskyy is an artist and curator from Kharkiv, Ukraine. With an engineering background, he has been engaged in photography since 2007. His work is defined by the fusion of documentary and performativity. Lebedynskyy is also a collector of Ukrainian photography, and his collection became the foundation of the Museum of Kharkiv School of Photography (MOKSOP), which he founded in 2018. Since the spring of 2022, Lebedynskyy has been photographing Kharkiv and traveling to other regions of Ukraine particularly affected by the war, documenting the new reality and brutal changes.
